2006 f250 6.0l head studs

I am new to the diesel scene and I just bout a 2006 6.0l I know the problems with the 6 liter and one of my concerns is the head studs. I have heard by 06 ford has fixed that issue but what do I know. On a 06 is it still necessary for head studs and egr delete?

Yes it is, i just helped out a guy installing a few of his studs in his 06. do the egr delete, coolant filter, get rid of the gold coolant if it hasnt already been done, maybe upgrade the oil cooler, upgrade your ficm down the road when needed.
