stc fitting.
I suspect a hpo system leak on my 03 6.0 and really feel like it may be at the stc fitting. does anyone have a line on where is the best place to buy an o-ring kit for that system or am i gonna hafta buy a giant kit in order to get those few? i have a generic o-ring set but i dont really want to scrimp on this deal since it's so hard to get to..help

no stc fitting on the 03- to 04.5 year trucks.. If you are have hot start issues. Inspect the dummy plug and stand pipes.

As mentioned above, possible stand pipe issue but if you do some research you'll find that the 03's didn't many issues with HPO leaks as much as they had pump issues. I'm working on an 03 right now that has 120k miles and the pump is junk. Need to have a way to monitor your ICP and IPR values to help narrow your problem.

the pump/icp/ipr only have about 7500 miles on them. i guess that doesn't rule them completely out but surely it narrows the odds. do you have a monitor you recomend keeping in mind i intend on selling the pick up after i get this problem knocked out. and what dummy plugs are you talkin about? the brass plugs on the oil rail under the valve covers?

no dummy plugs, just the old style stand pipes that connect the branch tubes from the HPOP to the oil rails for the injectors
