Have heard guys complaining about newer flashes from Ford that; yea knock down the mpg and engine gets more sluggish.
Not sure of exact flash#s maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in.

I have that strategy and I can't complain. Highway just under 20 mph at 60 mph. City runs about 16+ depending on density. Towing 14 ish.
