No start issuse fixed

]Hello every one, and a great big thanks to every one who helped with my problem truck. The good news is the truck is back together and running. I found that there where two problems with the engine. Number one was the IPR valve. And number two was the HPOP was not getting enough oil to run. That problem was that the oil screen and the passage way was clogged with gunk. I mean it was clogged. I had to take a piece of metal rod to clean out the passage from the screen to where the HPOP suction is. Got that nice and clean and when I would spin the engine over to see if the pressure was building, oil started shooting out of the hole where the IPC sensor goes at. So got it back together and it runs good. Now I have another problem. When I would give it gas in park or neutral, the RPM's would keep climbing then it would go back to normal. I would hit the gas quick let my foot off but the rpm's would still climb to about 3000 rpm's then go to normal. But put in any drive gear (auto trans) or let it warm up and it would act normal. Would any one know about this. Oh and how does one clear any codes to get turn off the service soon light. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike.
