blue smoke??

Hello everyone. i am new here, so dont laugh at me! anyways.i own a 2003 ford f-250 6.0 powerstroke. it now has 52000 miles on it. anyways, i have been starting it cold every morning, at around 30 degrees or colder. i noticed as the weather as been getting colder, the truck smokes more in the mornings. it doesn't use use oil, but it blows blue smoke for a few minutes. i was thinking possibly turbo seals, so i pulled of the intake hoses after the compressor, and found trace amounts of oil in the intake hoses, the air filter was quite dirty i found while i was under the hood,so i replaced it. could a dirty air filter be a factor, and how much oil in the intake hoses is acceptable, or normal? any help is appreciated!

sometimes blue smoke = engine oil going thru engine

i had blue smoke a few years ago, ended up being that my fuel pump was bad.
