Leaking around the degas bottle

The last week I've noticed some leaking around the degas bottle. Today I cleaned off the white residue and went for a drive around the block and noticed it leaking again when I got home. So I jacked the rear end up high and pulled the egr valve and It looked dry but noticed around the egr gasket there was a little black sappiness. I replaced the cap with a new one from ford about 3 months ago. There is no smell of coolant and no smoking either. I've seen a lot of post about this in the past and I'm thinking I may be screwed

Make sure your coolant level is slightly below the min level. That is the revised max coolant level from ford. I have seen what you describe in the intake, I believe it may be related to oil accumulation from the ccv. This is just a theory.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.
