07 6.0 Stinky and Smokie .....

I just bought a 70k mile 07 F-550 . Took it on a 2700 mile trip , the majority of the trip was great , the truck performed awesome . Then I get back into town , pulling in the driveway of my shop actually , and it starts pouring out white smoke , really stinky white smoke . I have never smelled anything like it . I opened the hood and opened the degas bottle , it made a sucking sound and some gurgling . At first the truck was smoking at idle , then it got to where it would only smoke if you were on the throttle . I think the egr cooler has failed , whats everyone else think ?

That'd be my guess as well. Pull the egr valve and look in the intake. If it's sopping wet the egr cooler ruptured. Whereabouts in Ohio you live?

Thanks for the offer . I am not sure I would want to drive it that far . The smell makes me sick . I am gonna tear into it this Sunday . Do you live around Newcomerstown ?
