04 6.0 Cooling Issue

Hey all,

I just recently bought a 2004 F-250 with the 6.0. I'm having problems getting it to throw any heat. The truck recently had new heads, gaskets, ARP studs and an EGR cooler. I have the reciept from the previous own that states this was an issue when the truck came in with blown head gaskets and two cracked heads. I replaced the Degas Cap with a NAPA one to be on the safe side. When I accelerate it throws heat but its just luke warm. Rad hose is warm, heater core hose closest to passenger fender warm, the other is practically cold. Any ideas??? Water pump??? Heater Core??? Temp gauge runs in the middle. Going to drive it tonight in Diag mode to get an exact temp.

Also on this truck fuel gauge inop and check engine light on.

Trying to give as much info as i can.

Any ideas???? Thanks!

I'm most likely going to try that. The ro states that they flushed it twice and they recommended replacing it.
