Question turbo question help.

I have searched but didn't find anything on it but. What should the stock boost pressure on a stock turbo be? Whats the MAX it can do.

Im wondering if when cleaning my turbo i might have put it back together wrong. IS that possible?
I thought before all the work i did, that i was getting higher pressures. Now the highest i have seen is 21psi. And my MPG is not as hight as it was. I am wondering could i have aligned the unison ring and actuator up incorrectly or if thats possible.

Any ideas would be great thanks.

Doesn't the SCT tuner lower the boost #s a bit? I know the SRL does, not sure about the econo tune.

These are designed to put out atleast 28lb's from everything I have read.

This is the best write up I have seen for rebuilding your turbo. Maybe it could turn you onto something. It has lots of pics.

Good write up. But i haven't figured this out and I'm not happy with the way it is so i guess I'm going to take it back apart and check it again.
