turbo part needed

I was told by a ford tech that this part cann't be replaced. have to get a new turbo. it is an unison ring [hope i got it right]. I have heard of them being replaced before so why not mine?
the truck is 2006 f650 6.0. I can read the serial # on the turbo but not the part # serial # FJW732032
If anyone can help please let me know. thanks for your help

that's what i was thinking. The ford tech said because it is a F650 it uses a different turbo than the other f series do and for this one they do not make a replacement ring.

The F650 may very well take a different turbo as it is an international VT365 and not a powerstroke. Unison rings do not come as repackaged international parts like a lot of 6.0 parts do.

Can you snap a pic of the turbo for us?

edit-

the work shop manual states to replace the unison ring if it has excessive wear or is cracked. If it's the same turbo as a 6.0 then the part number is 3C3Z-6C885-A

Sinner may be right biggest we had in the fleet was 550's so I never worked on a 650, missed reading that part.

I can't really do anything with international numbers. There's no Ford crossover catalog anymore and a lot of parts have changed numbers since the original one.
