Turbo coupling(boot) came off and dented my hood :(

I was full throttle on the highway when it popped off. when the discharge pipe hit the underside of the hood it dented it . Not a huge dent, but now I have to look at that stupid dent every time i get in the truck. Anyone know a place to buy boots that won't slip off?

Probably was just time to change. If there is a lot of soot on the pipe around the boots they were leaking. Happened to me after doing a wot run after doing my stc fitting. Also they covered with oil from the ccv. There is a relocation mod for that. I bought oem boots cleaned everything with brakleen and sprayed the boots with hairspray, reinstalled and let dry all night. As for the boots, I Iike oem stuff, have heard others mention Riff Raff diesel. But also have heard to keep away from dieselsite boots, I've heard the inner linings come apart, there is a big thread on it somewhere here (no personal experience). Oh.... and welcome to the dented hood club!! Lol.. just kidding.. know how you feel.
