Hard Start after sitting for an hour
I have a 2004 F250 psd. It has been giving me all sorts of trouble lately. It had hard starts when i bought it and finally looked into it and it had an ICP code. So I changed out the ICP and its worse now. When I start it in the morning, it runs for a brief second and dies, does this about twice and finally it will start after cranking for a while and I actually have to rev it up to keep it running. I took it to the local diesel shop and they only got it to do this once. I picked it up and it does it all the time after sitting for just a few hours. They suspect the HPOP, but would this be a sign of the HPOP going out?
Thanks for the input

You need a monitor. Get one on the truck that can monitor icp actual and desired as well as ficm voltage and ipr actual and desired. Get that plus the parameters stated and then we can tell you if it's a failing ficm or hpo leak or possibly something else.
