2005 f350 6.0l no start HELP
I just got this 2005 f350 6.0l last week when I got it the guy just had egr delete new oil cooler and hpop done with paper work to prove it does not have a chip it does have the scan gauge II monitor on it it was running fine I came home shut it off than about an hour later tried to go some where it starter then shut off after about 5 seconds so I tried to restart it fired then shut right off now it will just turn over and thats it I checked the ficm volts they are good but when I check the ICP while cranking it only gets about 42 lbs top and the ipr voltage is good with key on but when I crank it it goes to about 77 volts any HELP would be great I think STC vale but they just changed the pump ? let me know what you think

Un plug your icp sensor, if it is only a bad sensor the truck will start and stay running.
If it does not then you have other HP Oil issues and testing is needed. |

Ok I unplugged the icp sensor and ICP pressure will go up to 1133 when cranking but still no start...

The icp pressure that you are seeing is the default value not the actual pressure.
You now need to do the air tests of the HPOP system. Read the sicky on the 6.0 problems forum for the various tests. |

Also on the scan gauge the cam and crank show that they are not in syn.

Update lastnight I pulled the hpop to check the stc valve and it has the updated one on it damn it .....but while I was inspecting everthing I noticed the screen on the ipr was trashed and there was trash in the valve so I have cleaned it I will put back together tonight hopefully that will do the trick has anyone else ever had that happen

Ok put the new screen on the IPR and put everything back together after a few cranks she is back and running thanks for all the info.
