i just change the cap yestherday but after reading some threads

i start to check the fan clutch

i can turn by hand when cold and turn by hand when hot

also when hot i stop the engine and i can see the fan still turning for a good 6 secons after ignition is off

Some actual temps would help us make a better diagnosis. The fact that u can turn it by hand is not a real indicater since you should be able to turn it but with some resistance. The fact that it free wheels for so long does indicate a possible weak clutch.

But like I said some actual temps would help.

ok ... lucky i am

one of my friend have auto eng . and we did a on demand test for fan high speed and it work perfectly

everyone with a 6.0 should have this

will make some more test

truck was iddling for at least 1 hour and the temp was around 180

i think everything is fine

and i think the big problem was the degas cap that i bought for only 10$

i will sleep better tonight
