Cleaning injectors
What's a good way to clean the injectors, I just replaced my #7 on my 03 6.0 and there were only 2 holes on the nozzle that were open so I'm sure the others are going to get that way. So what's some possibilities on additives to try!! Alittle advice on this would be great!! After the injecter was swapped the truck runs so smooth FYI

RevX is for the oil side of the injectors, not the fuel side.

This is correct. RevX is an oil additive that helps with striction issues of the solenoid valves on the injectors.
While I am not a big fan of mechanic-in-a can products just be shure the product is made for diesels. You really do not want to use a product made for gas engines, you can blow the tip right off the injector. They are too volital and can cause serious cylinder/piston damage. |
