Injectors maybe?

Gotta '03 F-250 with 6.0 and 150,000 miles. Changed out #5 and #8 injectors 6 months ago. A few months back started getting hard starts and it would die after just a few minutes, even while on the road driving. When it was running I had no power whatsoever. It finally died on me and will not start back up at all. Changed fuel filters, changed HFCM, checkedFICM and its good. Getting plenty of fuel to main filter housing. She will crank but nothing more. Gave it one shot of ether just to ensure it was a fuel issue and it fired right up for a second with that. So am I looking at replacing more injectors or is there a possibility of having air in the injectors themselves?

When you are cranking the engine is there any smoke exiting the exhaust? Can you smell diesel fumes in the exhaust while someone else is cranking? If not you have a problem with your HPO system.
