Shop in Oregon to do gaskets/studs

Found out today that I have blown head gaskets. Dealer will not get the heads checked, they just want to stud it and put new gaskets in. I would prefer to take it to a shop that would check the heads for flatness.
Does anyone know of a good shop in Oregon that can do the work? I am located in Salem but willing to drive for a good shop to do the work.
