I have an 07 with about 64,000 miles on it. Runs perfectly fine but once i hook my camper or other large trailer it over heats. Just curious if other people have had the same problem
The truck is stock. Trany temps are fine but when I start going up hills or get caught at stop lights it starts to over heat. It has also happened in the winter time when pulling the sled trailer
I would have raised hell...(like I did to get mine done ) and even paid out of pocket for the cooler at that point if I had to since they were that far in to it
Same boat as you just picked mine from the shop. They replaced the head gaskets, haven't hooked my camper up yet to see if still overheating... But my oil cooler is shot to I believe because my deltas are out of whack, but dealer said it was fine so wouldn't replace. But like these guys said get an edge or some sort of monitor and check your eot and ect, I'd bet you are running high delta as well
