Yet another no crank after headgasket
I have low high oil pressure so it will not start . After reserching on this forum . I have come to the conclusion that I have a low oil pump problem .
While doing the open filter housing test to test the low pressure pump . I noticed that one of the legs holding the drain back valve in place was broken. Could this cause the filter to not seal correctly and bypassing some oil pressure? Also I am running Napa filters which now I see could also be a problem . When I hold the drain back valve down and crank the housing fils up in a few seconds . Could this little part be causing my low oil pressure problem ?
