Degas bottle??

My degas bottle was just about empty about 2weeks ago so I added some distilled water to the mark(lower mark than factory) took off for a 3hr. Drive and it blew it out. Truck is studded, deleted, not running hot. And degas bottle still empty when motor is warm. I have driven roughly 1500 miles since then truck is running fine even pulling 8k camper. Any thoughts thanks

Put some more coolant in there, it will puke and burn it down the pipe. So where do you think it's going?

Lol it's coming out the cap. Replaced cap when studded it. Reason I said its not puking its not making that dreadful sound. And is running like a top!

Mine did that same thing and I'm in the middle of a head gasket job right now. It's literally sucking coolant in small doses. Even not running wacky or puking it's 100% possible to have a blown head gaskets. It sucks it in and turns it to steam but it's not sucking enough to cause white smoke.its unfortunate but welcome I the world of owning a 6.0. Mine is studded and has an egr delete. Black onyx gaskets.

Black onyx gaskets, bad head job, losing coolant = blown head gaskets/cracked heads/damaged injector cups. Unless you have coolant leaking on the ground.

throw a pressure gauge in the coolant circuit and check it out

also ford recommended to Me a cap and bottle replacement because of sealing issues

Mine was still head gaskets
