Is it an injector

Helping a buddy out with his truck its an 03 350 6.0 psd. Its starting running rough about a week ago. I scanned it came back with a bunch of codes didn't write them down. They were #5 injector chk high, #5 balance, #4 balance, multiple/random misfire, and another code with #5 can't remember. The buzz test on it was successful(pass). He has 2 new injectors for it but don't want to rip into it and that not fix it any suggestions?

Bad batteries, ficm...... You need to do the ficm check procedure, and get a monitor on that truck.

What is ficm good. voltages above 45, right? Just having good voltage does not mean the logic side of the ficm is ok. Something is killing the injectors. Fuel pressure, hpop pressure.........?
