White smoke of death

Got a check engine light on the way home from work yesterday, didn't come back on yesterday evening.

This morning I noticed it was white smoking really bad, and it was almost 70 degrees out, so it wasn't a cold start issue.

Checked the coolant level and ending up adding over a gallon.

EGR cooler failure?

Most likely EGR but check your oil to make sure there's not water in it. you could have blown a head gasket. I sell EGR Delete kits for $249 if you need one. My web site is Asheville Engine Rebuilders - Home with all the contact info on it.
