6.0 died no restart

I am dealing with a stock 2006 f-250 6.0 that died on the road and will not restart. Showing trouble code p2290 injection control pressure too low. HP oil pump and regulator a good place to start?

I just had this same issue. Injector control pressure regulator had failed.

Lpop, icp sensor/pigtail, hpop. You can disconect the icp and se if it starts to do a quick check on the sensor. Do you have a monitor to see icp pressure or voltage?

No monitor, a local mechanic is going to check it out tomorrow. He has a good rep and has helped me in the past.

If your truck died and won't restart that means that you don't have enough oil to run the high pressure oil system.
