Look down between the oil filter and turbo its right on top of the oil cooler cover. I dont believe they fail too often. Are you seeing high/low temps?
Thanks for the reply. Some times it seems to run about 10 degs lower then the coolant temp. then it moves kinda fast to about normal (5-6 degrees above.) Some mornings at start up it is 7-8 degrees lower then coolant temp. After sitting all night.

That actually sounds normal. Your oil temp with typically start out lower then once the truck comes up to temp it should be slightly higher. Keep in mind deltas should ideally be checked at operating temp (190-205) cruising 65mph unloaded. That will give you a better idea.
You need a new temp sensor. Oil should always be hotter than coolant when running.
When sitting over night they should be within a couple of degrease of ambient [room] temp.
