another no start

hey so im working on my inlaws 05 6L. this morning he started the truck and came in to check something quick but by the time he came back out the truck died, then tried to start and nothing not even a pop or a fart. later he tried again nothing again. by the time i got there i had to charge the batts (he left the key on, oops) and now everytime i turn the key on and the fuel pump pressures up theres a air noise by the fuel filter at the top of the engine and i cant find it. i loosened all the fitting and retightened them still there i changed the filter o ring still there. its only air no fuel (i brake cleaned it up and nothing wet) any ideas???????

oh yeah i have lots of fuel pressure i didnt screw the lid back down all the way and now everything is dieselie, and no smoke nothing out the back

So finally had a min to look at it alittle bit and found the 50amp fuse (i think it was called the ICP fuse) in the engine compartment fried and I put a circuit breaker in and it kept popping. Is that or could the be caused by a fried FCIM? I may have time tomorrow to check but incase its not and someone knows what it is that would be awesome.

Well texted the FICM its fried now time to call around and see if new or used or rebuilt is the way to go. Is there a forum on how to do the resoider your self?

i sent mine out to ED @ FICMrepaire.com it took about 3-4 days and i had it back if you send it out nextday with post office. He will send it back the same if you want. I also had mine tuned with an atlas 40 tune. better throtle responce for sure and a little power too

well its off to ficm repair . com and the top rebuild with the 40hp tune and put my spare 04 one in the truck and everything seems to run good even with that fuel air leak or vacuum leak i can hear by the top fuel filter ... weird ... my 05 doesnt have that noise...
