6.0 misssing and poor mileage
I got a 94 6.0 last year has always started good but when cold it acts like it has a miss. If you step on it it runs fine but at a steady pace it jumps. Well everyone says if you take the muffler off your truck will pickup some more mileage. So I cut the muffeler off and low and behold the truck runs like crap. It seems to miss all the time and the mileage fell from about14.7, 16 to 12, 12 nd half. Doesn't seem to smoke? Drove a 05 a few days ago without a muffler and it sounded like a jet in the back, Mine doesn't? Premuffler Also has no low end torque with a trailer will not hardley move it, yet on the hi-way at 55 goes like hell. Truck has 135000 with about 90000 on motor running 15-40 and have run all kinds of fuel additive in per say a ford mech, Please Help. Sorry for the long post just trying to post all the info
