1st Start of the Day
So here's what I've got, 2007 F-250 6.0 58,xxx miles 6spd, Edge Insight CTS, no engine mods, Ford filters, Rotella-T oil, brand new Die Hard Platinums, and the problem that I'm having is on the first start of the day it's turning over good but seems like it's lugging when it fires. Good FICM voltage from the Insight (48/48.5v). Every other start during day it works like a champ, just on that first start. I did an oil change a couple weeks ago, and had the dealer re-flash for tire size a couple months ago but that's it as for maintenance. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Oh yeah, almost forgot, no codes either...

Does it smoke? Are you looseing any coolant? Do you seem to be useing more fuel than useual? Have you had it scanned on live data while starting?

No smoke, no coolant loss, doesn't appear to be using more fuel than usual. And as far as live data, i have what the Insight shows me during start up and it has been a consistent 48/48.5v. Thanks again

So what is your battery voltage while cranking? Maybe you should check your cables and ground. I'm just thinking small stuff right now.

Looks like 12.5v when i turn the key on and the glow plugs are doing their thing, then 11.6 or so while cranking, it cranks fast and turns over but just doesn't seem right
