low boost/wooshing sound 06 6.0

Alrighty guys I know Its probably been beat to death, but I lost boost on my truck to about 8psi max. When driving around nicely, you can hardly tell, but once you get on it pretty good, its really sluggish and you can hear a wooshing sound from under the hood, so im obviously losing pressure somewhere. so I'm going to start looking at clamps and hoses now, but how do I tell If Its the y-pipe? Maybe downpipe? Looking to do egr delete soon, would that help? Also noticed the clamp on the exhaust is loose, but looks like its been loose for a while. Thanks in advance from the newb!

Ccv mod? I wouldnt. Hoses, stick with oem. Others may chime in. check those clamp connections on the exhaust side too, check for soot on the firewall. :thumbup:

Thanks for the input, I was gonna go ahead and do all of the boots since I'm in there, especially since this one looks this bad! Just curious, why no ccv mod?

All of the boots would be smart, ccv mod is not necessary. Money spent better elsewhere. You have a monitor solution?

Not yet, but its next on the list. Edge cts with egt and fuel pressure.what's the best way about getting your fuel pressure reading, I've seen a few different ways on here...
