LPOP question?

My mechanic is telling me that he is 90 percent sure that my problem is the LPOP. Says its not sending oil to the the reservoir for the HPOP and then building enough pressure to fire injectors. If this is the case how big of a job will it be to get to. how many hours of labor? And does anyone know how much parts for the job will cost? Thanks for any help.

if i'm going strictly with your mechanics word, not too expensive. could be oil filter standpipe or the regulator down in the front cover. i'm not sure how much labor would be but both are pretty easy to get to
