Exclamation Delta Problems, Smoke, HELP

I just finished installing a new oil cooler. I did EGR River City Diesel delete (and leaving EGR valve in) Turbo drain tube upgrade, Blue spring, and CCV Vent re route. I did a coolant flush about a few weeks ago, and changed to ELC, sinster coolant filter and new thermostat. I have an Airaid intake filter, and a bully dog power pup programmer on 60 (I know its not a good one but i got it for free, and am planning on getting SCT in the future.

My delta was 40 degree difference before. It seemed to be ok when I ran the truck yesterday. But i took it on the highway today my ECT was 190-195 and EOT was 200-210 (cruising going 65)
I also have smoke that smells like oil coming from drivers side valve cover/turbo area. I do not see any leaks, and it goes away as soon as the truck is off.

2004 6.0 with 217,000 miles

I dont know what to do from here.

Your oil smell smoke is from the ccv reroute.

Put the ccv back in the intake boot like it was, your ccv reroute is to let the crank case vapor vent to atmosphere. That is what you installed, correct?

Yes I flipped the dog house and routes it down the frame rail. So I should put it back to how it was? What about the oil goin through my boots and into my intake?

Yes, you should not have done that, I would replace it. If you took it out of the intake boot, and didnt plug the intake, you are pulling in trash through your intake. The oil is not a problem, everyone has it, unless you have excessive blowby, then the oil would be your least concern. As far as your deltas, it sounds like your oil cooler is clogged. It is not uncommon for replacement cooler to clog again if your flush was not done correctly. Just usually takes longer. some guys are also finding out that their radiators need to come out to get flushed because their oil coolers keep getting clogged after several flushes.

Edit: your oil cooler may be clogging again, need some steady numbers

Of course I plugged the intake boot. When I did the flush I use restore and restore plus and follow the directions according to this site. My current temperatures are 185 and 209. Can I try back flushing the oil cooler? Or do I need to reinstall a new cooler? With the EGR deleted is it still really bad with the delta like that?

I tried backflush, does not work, those numbers aren't terrible, I edited my other post. watch it carefully, 15* is the magic number. Dont forget, what some people are saying about radiators.

So should I just keep my eye on it or try the restore and restore plus flush again? or will that clog my oil cooler even worse?
