Fan clutch?

What temp should the fan come on 100% It seems like my fan never comes on when I am towing. The temps get to the point where my Degas pukes Is there a way to test the clutch or not?

Side effect of disconnecting EGR valve

You don't have to put it back in the intake manifold just use the right rear intake elbow bolt going thru the EGR valve hold down tab to hold it from bouncing around and plug the electrical connector back in. I use a machined spool in place of the actual EGR valve in the intake manifold. Just do a search on eBay for "EGR spool", it costs around $70.

So would I need to turn the setting on my sct to ON when I plug it back in for the fan to work right? Or is that just for the CEL?

I would think you could just plug it back in.
