Idle's up and down

Hello to all,

I have noticed in the past couple weeks that my 2005 6.0l cc has been idleing strange. Truck starts fine, drives fine, after driving a long distance, I may stop at a red light and all of a sudden it will idle up and down. When it starts idling strangly it drops up and down and doesn' feel normal. Just dont need it to quit on me.

Also, thinking of getting an Edge Insight CTS, to help monitor some things on the engine. Is this somthing that I would need to keep up with the 6.0l, What are some of the similar monitors you guys have that help keep up trouble shooting your 6.0

thanks in advance,

and truck is all stock w/ new FICM and updated STC hpop.
