2005 6.0 injector

hey guys need a lil help here 2005 6.0 it cranks fine when its cold and hot idles fine no smoke but when you drive it a few min it stalls like it running out of fuel it will cut of and it takes a few min to get it to crank back up when it stall it starts to smoke then and then quits i check the ficm got 48.5 volts got good batteries new fuel filters new oil change it has the egr delete recent rebuilt oil cooler and new stc fitting anybody got any ideals thanks

After it stalls and dies check the fuel filter on top of the engine to see if its empty. Might want to consider rebuilding the fuel pressure regulator. Any trouble codes?

dont have a scanner to check for codes but i know when it cuts off you have to pat the fuel pedal to get it to crank and it was doing it at idle a few min ago
