Head gaskets and studs....replace intake and exhaust gaskets too????

what is the min. gaskets for a head job on the 6.0 just the head gaskets or do you have to get the exhaust and intake gaskets too? already have the heads to come off. I am not messing with injectors or gp either.

The odds of getting the exhaust gaskets off clean are slim and if your haveing the heads checked the machine shop will want them off. Not haveing the heads checked is asking for trouble.

The intake gaskets are reuseable altho if they look questionable I would replace them.
Be shure and replace the copper gaskets on all fuel lines.

you will have to pull the injectors , and when you do that you need to replace the injector seals. While you ar ein there, do the standpipes nd dummy plugs.

Why is it required to mess with the injectors? I am working on the truck for a friend and he is selling it as soon as it is fixed. So he is trying to get out as inexpensive as possible.

The injectors are installed into the heads and need to be pulled to remove the heads from the block.
