The best coolant and flush?

What's everyone's experience on which coolant and which flush works best?
Looks like I'm up for a flush, pullin an empty horse trailer andy ect and eot are anywhere from 13-28* difference.. Just installed a coolant filter and got about 1400 on it so far so I'm gonna check it tmrw, but I'm planning on doing a flush and new coolant in both 6.0's soon

There are about a billion threads on coolant on this board. The majority say go with EC-1 rated ELC. I choose to stick with the stock gold coolant with a bypass filter.

That's a pretty hefty temp difference with an empty trailer. You may want to hold off on the flush until you either rebuild your oil cooler or attempt to back flush it. I would go ahead for the rebuild if I were you followed by keeping the filter on there.

I may do that, I need a fan clutch anyways and figured I'll do a waterpump while I'm there and I already got a egr block off waiting, just need to put it on so I'll be right there by the cooler anyways, but it may be a little while, but I got another 700 mile trip coming up soon and figured I'd flush it first until I can get me a cooler.. Was thinking about either cv-9 or simple green. Has anyone tried anything else that works good?
