Intermittent key on, no power to dash, no start, no fuel pump running

Ok. So I'm having an ongoing issue with my 2004 F550 6.0L 27,000 miles. On occasion, and with no warning, I will turn the key on, and the dash wont light up, the fuel pump doesnt run, and when the key is turned to start, nothing happens. At the same time all of this is going on, the radio works, and so does the blower motor for the heat. I have been having this problem for years, but it is intermittent, and only happens every 4 or 5 times that I use the truck. I cant remember it ever happening in the morning. It is usually after the truck has already run that day. There was one time that the truck died while I was driving, with all of the exact same symtoms as above. The problem always seems to correct itself, and leaves no codes. Thinking back, the first time it happened, I put it on a trailer, and took it to the dealer (under warranty). They couldnt find any problem, and said it could be the alarm. I spoke to an installer at the reputable electronics place that installed the alarm, and he knows that they didnt interrupt any circuit that would cause this. I would greatly appreciate any insight on this problem. Thank you
