Has anyone just left their bedplate leak alone?

I know the bedplate leak is common on the 6.0 and I seem to be facing one too. I'm about two months from the end of my 5/100K warranty. I've been just living with it for a while because I've been nervous about having the truck torn apart to repair it.

Has anyone just left theirs alone? What was the result over time - did it get worse? Any long-term issues?

If you have the opportunity to have it repaired for free then I would jump on it. Not doing it would be a huge regret when you end up paying out of pocket for it.

Find a dealer that you feel comfortable with and let them handle it. It would even be worth traveling a few hundred miles for the amount of money you will save by letting Ford pick up the tab on this one.
