What kind of oil is everyone running? i seen someone post the other day about using 5/40, anyone running this? And has anyone had any good experience out of Rev X?

I run Amsoil 5w-40. I have used Rotella T6 5-w40 also. My truck likes the Amsoil more than Rotella. Shortly after I bought the truck it developed a stiction issue, I was running the Rotella and I used Rev-X in 2 changes. Within 10 min the Rev-X cleared the stiction up, it idled smoother, everything with the motor was smoother.. When I switched to Amsoil I quit using Rev-X because the consensus seems to be that you don't need it with Amsoil. Been running Amsoil for about 5K and no problems.

Valvoline 5w-40..used to run rotella t6..learned from Dave and Doug (go go diesel) that it can cause injector problems.

Amsoil. The guys that fixed my head gasket "issue" the other day said the inside of my motor looked new.
Lots of opinions but take it for what it's worth. I'm about 125K and my motor hard core and still looks new off of it. I'll stick with it.
