Putting Stud's in..
Hello,
We all see people post about the hg's going, oil coolers and putting in ARP or H11 stud's... I'm doing it right now. I'm just posting to ask... Where the hell do you all get a torque wrench that goes to 200+ foot pounds ![]() ![]() ![]() I was lucky enough my machine shop has one that goes to 300lbs. For $20.00 the guy let me borrow it. Makes me feel bad that on my tool box I have the sticker "No Tools Loaned" I do have to admit the thing is huge and lord only knows when it was last calibrated. I'm just gonna check it against mine and see if it's off. Just thought I'd ask... |

Most of my tools are SnapOn or Mac... and my 3/4" is a SnapOn an I know what I paid for it. How much would a 600# go for? $500/600
This was just a simple post. I asked a buddy what you would need something like that for an he said some wheel bearings an such. I'm 245 and pretty in shape, to torque these is almost my full weight. That's me hanging from a bar, Difference is I'm stuffing my 245lb a$$ under the hood of my truck pushing/pulling on a bar. Sure it'll be an adventure for sure. nite |
