turbo help?

my boost was always around 5psi on the highway during the summer got my truck during then. and today i noticed it was at 10psi on the highway i checked for anyleaks nothing still has all the power. is it a sign that my turbo is on its way out or from the cold below 30 degrees today. i think its fromm the cold but any help would be great thanks

First of how fast? Flat ground? Was the wind blowing in your face? How long since turbo has been cleaned? Mine always ran about 5 PSI @ 70 on flat ground with no wind. I took my turbo out and cleaned it, discovered that I had 3 veins that where sticky and had restricted movement. Now on flat ground, no wind, 70 MPH I run about 3 PSI.

I'm getting 5psi no power unstuck and cleaned turbo replaced unison ring cleaned map hose and nipple cleaned bp sensor no leaks

maybe ur breaks are hanging. but u would notice it slowing u down on decel.

flat ground around 65-70. no wind. i just bought the truck during the summer so i dont know when it was last cleaned. it was around 5psi duirng the summer.

Might be vgt solenoid very little oil on solenoid is it suppose to be like that and the tip is hard to push in

should i take off my turbo and clean it then?

Yea that's what I did lots of carbon build up vanes were stuck had to buy new unison ring
