6.0 L runs rough

One day my 6.0 L diesel was running smooth. The next day I noticed it running very rough when I accelerate from cruising speed of approximately 1900 to 2000 rpm. E.g. not running on all cylinders. When running at lower rpms and accelerate it does not seem to be as noticeable a problem. When I back off demand it seems to temporarily stop. My guess is either clogged injectors or fuel filter. I have used an injector cleaner and anti gel additive to a full tank of fuel and have gone through at least a third of a tank, but it does not seem to be getting any better. This problem I am experiencing came on suddenly. It makes me wonder if I picked up bad fuel. I suppose I am in for a diagnostic check. Is there anything else that I should be looking at?

6.0 L runs rough

Thanks for the reply. It starts easy initially, but it is idling somewhat rough as well, despite that I have injector cleaner and anti-gel fuel additive. None of the idiot lights come on. I was thinking of replacing the air filter as the easy first step.

I switched to rotella T6 recently and am now having a cold start issue. The engine runs rough and suspect stiction.
Any ideas my friends?

the t6 synthetic should aid in cold starts.

By the way, I was running injector cleaner in mine when it started acting up. I've only had it a month, I guess I should have left it alone. I.m going to fix it though.
