i think it happend

looked under the hood today and there it was coolant from the degas bottle not much but enough to make me hop on here and start reading up again. so to answer all the questions and get the best answers, no theres no white smoke egr delte has been done temps are within 7-8 deg but the other day i was at 14 delta and that was normal driveing yes it cranks hard the first time i start it for the day, i have no codes im guessing my heads finaly went on me i hope like hell they didnt but what do you all think thanks for the help in advance

full egr delete
Bts tranny
coolant bypass and fillters
rotella red elc
cummings 5.9l banjo bolts
4 inch turbo back
Custom tunes by spe
2.7 leveling kit



next on the list
new injector$ $$$$$
regulated fuel return
ficm & ecm to php along with my evo to be flashed
and half in my 401k lol
still have my 401k all of it

Start with a new degas bottle cap, keep the level 1/4 inch below the "add" line when cold. Also, get a pressure gauge and install that in the line that returns to the degas bottle from the intake. It shouldn't go above 16psi.

do they sell the caps aftermarket or ford only ???
and was going to lowes now to get the hose and stuff to do that

In this instance, I wouldn't go aftermarket. I think the cap is about 30 bucks through Ford.

good deal... yeah im in between a rock and a hard spot if it is my heads because i dont want to buy the regular oil cooler im wanting to put in bulletproofs kit.but im gonna give all this a shot and see what happens and il let you know..

hey wanna mail me one lol mt is a hike for a degas cap...and sinner the tune will be comming off the truck ive noticed in the past that it runs hotter with the tune and i always seem to get a #5cyl combustion fail code. but thats only when cold so i guess injectors are in my near futhure also. guess i just need to go get the truck to daz in new york and get this all taken care of asap...

ok been working 3ed shift this week so no trime to go to ford to get a new cap.. but ran the truck the other day as was just a little out of the bottle, but i took the tune out and drove to work and nothing dry as it could be ??? so whayt ever the tune is doing to my truck to run diffrent is what makeing me puke think i just might say the hell with it and take the tax money and get the heads done i still have a had time wraping my head around 5k for what should be a simple head job tho lol...
