EGR Cooler Finally Happened To Me

Well the EGR Cooler finally wet the bed. I am dropping it off at Underground Diesel to have the Heads decked, studs installed, new oil cooler, and a bulletproof EGR installed. Sucks, but what can you do. I found wetness in the EGR valve port. I hope this will be the end of the problems for a bit or my wife is gonna light my truck in fire. lol

you don't have to do the heads unless the gasket popped. ENJOY

Figured I might as well just do the studs too. I will be posting pics. I am gonna go by the shop today.

Okay. Today is the first official day of work on my truck. Due to the holiday it sat at the shop. They will be sending me some pics as the work goes on an I will be posting them. I will be stopping by today to check out the progress. This is either a good start or a bad start to the new year. Lol

Nice looking truck!

Think of it as a good thing because you won't have to always be worrying about when the egr cooler or gaskets are going to blow!!!

Mine went a few years ago with only 35k mi. on my truck, luckily it got fixed under warranty and I had studs installed at the same time but I still always worry about the replacement egr cooler going out so now I have a Bulletproof cooler ready to install.

By the way, what brand flares do you have on there? They look very nice!

Here are some pics. Initial impression is that the guys are really nice. One of the owners is named Newly and he is extremely professional and very patient with all my questions. All you Vegas guys should check them out! He gave me another pic of a white F250 getting an HPOP and a IPR change on. So far so good!

I believe they are bushwhacker extend a flares.
