Long starts, Hard shut off

Truck is taking wayy to long to start, seems as if the fuel pump ain't throwing enough fuel in or injectors are dirty, and just like the title says hard shut off even after I ran it for a good while, just happened out of the blue, water in fuel message was on screen drained separator no help, any ideas????? There was some dirt in the separator as well but not much

first thing I would check if you haven't is fuel filters, if they are good, check to make sure the caps on them are tight, air can get in there

Yea I pulled the filters and the main was nasty alot of dirt in it, replaced it ran better but water light came on again gunna drain it run real low on fuel an drop the tank n clean it, crappy fuel at Kroger
