Bad Exhaust Manifold?
Do Exhaust Manifolds go bad? my excursion had a bad exhaust leak that turned out to be the manifold, the truck does have exhaust manifold gaskets as they were added about 2 years ago...
Ford dealer said the drivers side was warped and wont torque down so it needs to be replaced. |

Yes exhaust manifolds on any engine can warp. When one starts leaking it needs to be fixed pretty quick as the escapeing gases themselves can actually wear away the metal of the manifold, creating an untrue surface. The longer it leaks the worse it can get until it reaches a point where it can't be corrected. Only replaced.
