Unhappy Getting BAD PARTS from Hell

Hello powerstrokers I will pass on my story.... I order parts from Ford of course going throughout the middle man, I been replacing a front cover in my 6.0-350-05 and been doing everything to detail and it has become a nightmare...when I first got it drop off by ups delivery truck it was in the box seal,(genuine ford parts)....happy I got my new part not thinking nothing of it I put in the motor got everything put together and I had a major oil leak, ok I figure I did something wrong,? took everything apart and put it back together paying attention to every detail, then again it would leak oil,? got in the box GENUINE PARTS though didn't think of taking the new part off figure the part was good (front cover)...its been a month I been dealing with it ,finally last week I took everything back out including the new part and started to notice the machining in the casting of the "new part" where the crankshaft goes had a "wrinkle" the orifice where crankshaft goes was not round but warp, So for yourself doers, save time and headaches check the parts you just got saying Genuine F%$#@ PARTS you new part maybe your next problem !!!:hard:the machining it look like it was done in a shop from the 1930's or 40' very rough to say the least.

That and maybe you didnt put the grey 7.3 RTV on the back of the gasket where the block and bedplate meet. Seen a few DIYers not do that and leak like a siv or reuse the original crank seal.

Return it as defective.
