Occasional puff of blue smoke

All, I don't think this is a problem but I am curious what the experts think. My truck is running great but have noticed that at cold start up it puffs blue smoke for a couple seconds. This part I think is normal. However, today the ECT was about 170 degrees and I stopped to back into my driveway put in reverse and noticed some blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe. It lasted until I shut it off in the driveway. Truck only has 38000 miles on it. A couple months ago Ford put ARP studs in, until then I never noticed any blue smoke.

Ideas?

Is it using any oil? Blue smoke = burning oil maybe a little excess fuel

It does seem to be using just a little oil. I don't drive it much but it is lower than when I last looked. Could it be related to what they did to put new head gaskets and studs in? Like I said it never blew blue smoke before they did that work.

Any other ideas on the occasional smoke?

Any of you guys have ideas on the occasional puff of blue smoke and apparent small loss of oil? I would guess a quart or so.
