Oil leak at fuel filter

I poped open my hood today and noticed the bracket for the thermostat was wet, looked some more and found the fuel line going into the small fuel filter at the nut is oil covered, the boot at the elbow is wet with black crud and oil, any ideas would be great

Make sure that clamp is tight for the CAC tube. Same thing happened to a buddies truck (my fault ). Nothing wrong with a CCV reroute, but if that tube is loose you're losing boost. Those plastic tubes are famous for cracking too.......

You have an aftermarket tube then. Maybe the boot is leaking . It will spray oil pretty far out of there. Make sure the clamps are tight

Didn't Ford update to the metal tube and boot because the factory plastic one was failing?
