Egr cooler block off, now problems.
Hey guys i recently did a egr cooler block off on a 04 f-350 my dad bought for 7500 bucks, i took the intake off and went no further. he told me not to do the oil cooler as well so i didn't, so we got it all back together and it ran great for ahwile, drove it around 30 miles, and it died, flat on it's face, it did that 4 or 5 times, and now it wont start, i'm thinking hpop leak but how cause i wasn't even in that deep. what else could cause this, i feel i messed something up, HELP PLEASE

Gonna have to check your HPO and possibly if you took the FICM out check your connections and make sure they are fully seated.

Need some help, what codes did you have? Do you have access to a scanner of some sort to check to see what your HPO is? What is your FICM voltage? If all you did was removed the EGR cooler and installed a block off there is no reason the truck shouldnt start. You shouldnt have disrupted the HPO system in any kinda way to make that an issue. We need some codes and more info to help more.

See the t-shooting guide and NO START CHECK LIST in my sig. Yes we need codes. What is you FICM voltage , ICP and IPR values. Trying to start it with low batteries is a great way to fry the FICM.

fcim tested at 48 volts like 3 weeks ago, i turned it over with the turbo off and it fired right off, after i pulled the entire wiring harness and did a check for the 3rd time. lets see if it still dies when i get this turbo on and warmed up!

Sounds like a HPO leak starts cold but not hot start.
