Time For Studs!! but what about the Heads

Ok I'm finally taking the truck in to get it studded. My question is what is the odds that the heads would be good. I talk to a shop that does head repair and he said that out of the 65 heads he gets a week only 5 sets pass. Now would it be wise just to buy new heads and add the 1500+ a head to the bill or chance it and see what the shop says.

oh man, this makes me nervous. checked on getting mine studded, heard the same results.
